²⁴ After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Hezron’s wife Abijah gave birth to Ashhur, who first settled Tekoa.

²⁵ Jerahmeel (the firstborn son of Hezron) fathered Ram (his firstborn), then Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. ²⁶ Jerahmeel had another wife. Her name was Atarah, and she was the mother of Onam.
